Kirby is a Managing Director in the KPMG Department of Professional Practice (DPP). Based out of Los Angeles, he has more than 14 years of experience providing assurance and other accounting services to global SEC registrants, primarily within the consumer goods, retail and technology sectors.
Within DPP, Kirby focuses on financial reporting developments, providing market leading insights, supporting KPMG publications, and advising engagement teams through complex interpretation and application of SEC regulatory and financial statement presentation matters.
Kirby has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accounting from the University of Miami. He is a licensed CPA in California and Florida.
