Paula is a Managing Director in the KPMG Indirect Tax Technology practice and the leader of E-invoicing and Digital Reporting services. She has over 15 years of experience in implementing tax solutions globally, leading cross border teams as part of the international rollouts and she specializes in LATAM VAT, Global ERP’s, tax engines and e-invoicing and digital reporting implementations. Paula brings a wealth of expertise in the Latin America region, specifically serving global companies in the complex Brazilian market.
Prior to her career in professional services, Paula was part of a tax engine team where she leveraged existing features and functionalities to extend tax content offering for LATAM countries, including Brazil.
Paula holds a J.D. degree in PUCCAMP from Sao Paulo, Brazil and LLM degree in International Law from the University of Tulsa, OK. Paula is a frequent speaker at Global tax conferences including tax engine provider conferences, KPMG Global Indirect Tax Conference and KPMG Latin America Conference.
