Yesenia (Yessi) Scheker Izquierdo
US Asset Management Sector Leader
Yesenia (Yessi) is the KPMG US Sector Leader for Asset Management. She has more than 25 years of experience serving clients in the asset management and private equity real estate industry, providing tax and advisory services to global asset managers and various real estate, construction, hospitality and infrastructure clients.
Yessi previously served as the New York Office Managing Partner and New York Market Hub Leader, responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s strategic direction in its largest market.
Yessi was named one of Crain’s New York Business 2023 Women of Influence, 2020 and 2018 Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting, and New York Real Estate Journal’s 2019 Women in Real Estate. She serves on the board of directors of the United Way of New York City, DREAM, and as a trustee fellow of Carnegie Hall. She is the CEO delegate for the NY Jobs CEO Council and a member of the Partnership for New York City’s Audit Committee. She is also a board member of the NYU Chen Institute and University of Florida Business Advisory Council.
