Andrew J. Neville

Andy Neville is a Managing Director in the KPMG Economic Services group. He has 15 years of experience helping federal, state, and local government clients modernize operations through data, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation. Andy has led large, multidisciplinary teams delivering complex analytics, financial transformation, fraud prevention, and operational modernization efforts across the public sector.

Andy’s work spans federal financial management, health care, housing assistance, emergency assistance, law enforcement, and public-sector oversight programs. He has helped clients develop and deploy enterprise data platforms, predictive models, machine learning solutions, AI-enabled document understanding capabilities, and executive analytics tools that improve decision-making, strengthen program integrity, reduce manual burden, and increase operational efficiency. His experience includes leading fraud prevention AI model development efforts that have helped government agencies identify fraud, waste, and abuse at scale and prevent more than $350 million in improper payments.

Andy holds a Master of Professional Studies in Applied Economics from the University of Maryland. He has presented on machine learning and fraud prevention AI models, as well as the use of advanced analytics to support public-sector decision-making.
