Charles leads KPMG’s cybersecurity compliance offering for the United States. As a licensed CPA, CISA, CSM, and Lead ISO 27001 Implementer, he has more than 16 years of experience solving cybersecurity and technology risk problems for clients by planning, building, and running compliance and risk programs across all three lines of risk for the federal government and commercial clients in the automotive, manufacturing, and financial services industries. Charlie has led cyber compliance programs, IT internal audit functions, digital trust imperatives including global SOC2 and ISO 27001 readiness, modern and emerging technology assessments, integrated financial statement audits, SOX 404 compliance audits, system transformation assurance programs, IPO readiness assessments, and vendor assurance programs. He has over 4 years of experience as an IT audit quality reviewer for the KPMG US Quality Review Program (QPR). He also serves as Past President and member of the board of directors for the ISACA Detroit chapter.
