Anuj is a Partner based in KPMG’s Toronto office and a member of KPMG Canada's Board of Directors. Anuj also leads KPMG’s Canadian Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (“TMT”) Practice, which is comprised of a group of partners dedicated to providing best-in-class solutions for compliance, deal advisory, tax planning, and consulting needs.
In his leadership role, Anuj takes responsibility for the firm’s client and market initiatives. This includes working closely with emerging, pre-IPO technology companies and public companies. He also manages relationships with many top venture capital and private equity firms actively investing in the Canadian TMT sector. Anuj works with Canadian clients to give them access to global expertise by acting as a primary liaison with KPMG's Silicon Valley and NY offices.
Anuj is a seasoned partner on leading multi-disciplinary teams on various assurance and advisory engagements for high-growth venture-backed companies, global SEC registrants, and Canadian-listed companies. His expertise includes US GAAP, IFRS accounting frameworks, and OSC and SEC financial reporting matters. With over a decade of dedicated involvement in KPMG’s TMT practice, he has developed deep knowledge of the software and technology sectors and excels at addressing client needs through a global and cross-functional perspective.
