Sarker Nahidul Islam

Nahidul is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He has extensive expertise in tax and advisory services, complemented by significant experience in audit. He currently leads teams of professionals in the Tax & Advisory Services department at Rahman Rahman Huq (RRH), Chartered Accountants.

With over a decade of professional practice, Nahidul has advised numerous multinational and foreign companies on taxation, regulatory matters, and transaction structures in Bangladesh, including foreign exchange regulations and compliance frameworks. His career also includes more than five years in the banking industry, where he held senior executive roles in finance and regulatory reporting.

His experience spans diverse sectors such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, transportation, banking, and services. He has led assignments in financial and tax due diligence for cross‑border acquisitions and financing arrangements in telecom, manufacturing, and financial services.

Nahid’s major clients include Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, Banglalink, Trimco Group, Hop Lun, Intertek, Brandix, Linde etc.
